Where is my Report Card? How come I don’t get an A any more?

November 13, 2014

We have had some questions around the data completeness report card and the data completeness certification reports. October first was the official start of the new HUD data standards. The new standards removed some fields and added some. This made our existing data completeness report card and the data completeness certification reports no longer correctly reflect the required data. We will be working on updating, repairing, and replacing,  reports for the next few months.

For now, the CoC Data quality report card reports have been retired. totally new reports will be required to address the new standards. We are working on developing and testing those.

The ESG – HTS Certification report has be modified to remove from the “Grade” fields which are not longer present on the updated ServicePoint assessment. As a hint of things to come, the new field Name Data Quality was added but it not yet part of the grade. In the coming weeks a new version of this report and it’s related detail report will be released. This report will cover the new universal data elements introduced in the 2014 data standards and the requirements of the HUD ESG program specific data elements.

Reports developed by the ServicePoint folks start with a four digit number such as ‘0201’ then a name. At present, only a few of these reports have been fully updated to match the new data standards.

In the ART > Data Quality folder the report ‘Completeness review detail v 0.2.1 (s)’ has been updated to provide a detail report with a number of filters to help identify data issues. Until we get the core reports updated and Bowman Systems get some of their reports updated this may be one of your best bets to look at some of your data completeness.
