ServicePoint Performance Issue: Google Chrome

June 6, 2013

Historically, we have recommended that for the most optimum  ServicePoint performance, Google Chrome was the best web browser to use. Recently, however, several users have experienced poor performance within Chrome, with the dreaded “Aw, Snap” notification that the page is no longer responding.

Bowman is aware of this issue and is working intensely to resolve it. Their latest communication indicated:

“another version of Chrome was released, and we are still experiencing issues with the “Aw, Snap” message. I’m glad Firefox is a suitable alternative for you in the meantime, and we will continually be testing new versions of Chrome until they release one that doesn’t present this issue.”

So, for the foreseeable future, we recommend utilizing Firefox as your browser when working in ServicePoint. Let us know if you have any questions.
