New Report – Clients with more than one un-exited entry into the same program

February 24, 2012

The title says it all “Clients with more than one un-exited entry into the same program”. This simple but useful report catches a common error, accidentally entering the same client into a program twice or forgetting to exit the clients previous stay.

This data entry error causes a number of problems in reporting such as over-counts, double income and other problems. The fix is simple, if the Entry Exit is an extra entered by mistake you can go to the Entry / Exit tab and delete it. If it is a forgotten Exit date simply enter the Exit date at the Exit Dialog for that entry.

The report is in Data Quality > Common Errors.

The only prompt is for the provider you want to report on.

If you get “no records found” you are good. If you do see a list it will tell you the client ID, the Count or number of times the client is in the program (should be only once and a time). and the Provider.
