Here is a short video of using the shelter occupancy report in ART with the new EDA prompts.
This is the “Magic Elevator” video from the ART training done the week of March 7th.
1- Each client PC should have a modern web browser installed, preferably
either the latest version of Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.
2- Port 8443 needs to be open on your network. This is the port where information going to and from ART travels. This port is separate from the port where normal internet traffic travels. If you are not behind a firewall (such as from
a home computer) then Windows XP will automatically open this port. If you are on a business network behind a firewall then you will need your network administrator to open this port.
For anyone who is network savvy this is the Tomcat server default port.

3- While this is generally all you will need for the standard ART interface. There is another requirement for the “Modify” interface. This requires that you have the latest supported version of the Sun Java runtime engine installed. This applet can be downloaded at the following
URL: http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp.
Choose “Free Java Download” and follow the instructions.
